As we dance through these last fleeting days of summer, I'm seeing signs that autumn is near. Along with the cooler temperatures (hooray for being able to open the windows in the evenings and mornings now!), the kids seem anxious to enjoy every last bit of the outdoors while they can. I was even convinced to play model in their tracing game last evening.
As the temperatures cool, the flowers are winding down their last summer hurrah.
But more autumnal nature bits are happy to take their places,
including the first leaves changing color.
My work-in-progress over the last few days, airplane travel is perfect for hat-knitting. Finn's Christmas elf hat, modeled by a silly Elizabeth. This Elfin Cap was knit with Malabrigo worsted in Alpine Pearl.
I love the photo of chalk tracing. Such a fun mama! The knit hat is beautiful and your knitting really amazes me. Lucky family and friends to have such pretty warm accessories for fall! I wish I lived closer so you could teach me to knit!
