On this Good Friday, many-a celebration happened in our household. We celebrated a bit of Good Friday itself. We celebrated Paul's birthday. And we held our annual Easter egg hunt. We started the morning with a breakfast out at our favorite cafe for Paul's birthday breakfast, then we spruced up the spring nature table with this postcard honoring the crucifixion followed by a reading of Easter.
In the afternoon, we invited friends over for our annual egg hunt. We collected the felted, crocheted and organic candy-filled eggs scattered over our backyard.
Later in the evening, we relaxed with bikes and balls in the front yard.
Quite a good Friday.
Looks like a perfect spring holiday celebration! Happy Easter to you Joy!

ReplyDeleteWelcome home! Your trip looked amazing. I can't believe how busy you all are after just returning from a big trip. We usually feel drugged from jet lag when we get home from Europe for about a week. Hope you have a fun filled Easter weekend!
ReplyDeleteOoh, we have lots of felted eggs, too! No crocheted eggs, but LOTS of painted wooden eggs.
ReplyDeleteYou all look so happy to come home to such a sweet celebration!
