Our time outside today for the Great Outdoor Challenge started as it often does...the kids, like ants, scurrying around the driveway. (Yes, there is a friend in the mix; we still have only 4 kids.)
And then trying some ill-fated stunts.
But we also noticed the leaves are springing out everywhere on our crepe myrtle.
A walk around the neighborhood as the sun was starting to set ended our evening.
We might not have spent much time actually communing with nature, but it sure was lovely to absorb the bright sunshine and breathe some fresh (thank you rain for knocking down the pollen) air!

ReplyDeleteI love how you say you still "only" have four kids. I always feel like a parade (a fun parade none the less) when we all pile out of the car (van-we of course do NOT fit in a car). Glad you got to soak in some rays with your fam. Enjoy your weekend!
