where mossy, root-covered trails abound

and old buildings stand by waiting to be explored

where stumps draw our attention

and we can investigate their fungal growth

where the sun spreads it's warmth from between the green trees

where creeks beckon

and the rocks splash wildly

where wildlife becomes our pet, if only for a few minutes

and the same dam is created year after year

where the boys hop from island to island

and their faces shine with happiness and their clothes drip with watery fun
