My Yarn Along for this week isn't very exciting. I'm working on a few different things, but after making our solstice woven suns, I decided to use some of the yarn to make a few dishcloths so that's the most recent knitting that's been in my hands. The Peaches and Creme yarn is such a great colorway of pink, orange and yellow that it's perfect for a summery dishcloth. I just finished reading A Father's Love, which is by David Goldman and follows his journey to reclaim custody of his kidnapped son. A powerful, emotional journey, for sure. He has my greatest sympathy and utmost respect.
And here's a little peek of something that we're working on that I can hopefully share later in the week.

Wonderful colors in your dishcloth. I love knitting dishcloths -- they come together quickly and make something pretty and useful. Plus it's a great way to practice new pattern stitches -- I figure if I mess up, it's not a big deal since I'm using affordable yarn and I'm going to use to wash dishes (not wear to fancy places!).

ReplyDeleteAhh, yes. I remember hearing about his story on Dateline or something like that. I was glad when his son was FINALLY returned to him.
