{this moment} - A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember. See Soulemama to play along.
{nut juice and nuts roasted on a "solar oven"}
I am intrigued with your solar cooking. I hope the nuts tasted yummy. Jacinta
ReplyDeleteOh I hope you tell us how to do this. My kids would like this just for the science experiment part of it all. Are those chestnuts? You eat plain roasted or use them in something. Very interesting.
ReplyDeleteI am SOOO invading your kitchen in a few weeks. I am like the fox and there is no tomten that can stop me ;)
ReplyDeleteThis is just the kids playing around. :) The nuts are just soaking in rainwater and the "solar oven" is a shoebox with tin foil.
ReplyDeleteVery cool. I've never heard of this . I love the solar oven idea. Very fun.
ReplyDeleteHow very interesting :)

Hey, as long as they don't expect you to actually eat it, right? LOL! One of my lovies cooked with the fallen (squishy & stinky) fruit so abundant in our neighborhood this time of year and REALLY wanted me to taste it since it was "fruit". Um, no thank you, hun! lol ;0
ReplyDeleteOurs was a moment taken on a sick day; a sick day that I surprisingly felt grateful for...
