Earlier today, I sent Paulie and Elizabeth on a walk with instructions to notice something they had never noticed before. When they returned, I asked them to write a poem sharing what they noticed.
Elizabeth's poem:
Holes
Many holes in the road,
some holes gigantic and deep,
Paint Splatter
Colorful drips splattered on the ground.
It does not look like a toad.
Blue and red on the side of the road.
Colorful drips that I have found.
It's artwork, my friend,
Happy National Poetry Month!
Those are both wonderful poems! I love them!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous project! And the poems are wonderful too. I will be stealing this idea :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun idea for the kids! I like their poems. I didn't know that it was Poetry month. I may have to copy you. ;)
